FERRIS - Randall Lee Johnson, 63, passed away in Ferris on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013. 

Randy was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on Feb. 17, 1950 to Leonard A. and Esther May (Wheatley) Johnson. He grew up in Wall, South Dakota and attended Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Indiana. In September of 1969 he married Connie Espinosa. After the death of Connie in 2009 he later married Rhonda Book on Sept. 22, 2012, and they made their home in Ferris. He served his country proudly in the United States Army serving in Germany. 

He worked as a self employed truck driver for more than 30 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #0345. 

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Johnson of Ferris; son, Robert Johnson and his wife, Annie of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters: Shannon Mancha and her husband Mark of Denton, Texas and Sheila Weldon and her husband Mark of Henderson, NV; son Coty Goodenough of Coppell, Texas and daughter Ashley Goodenough of Bristol, Texas; eleven grandchildren: four great-grandchildren: two brothers: Rick and Jo Johnson and Dan and Deb Johnson and three sisters: Sherie Pascoe, Janet and Travis Lang and Karen White. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Connie Johnson and one son, Ron Len Johnson. 

Visitation was on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life took place on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment followed at a later date in the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota on Nov. 8, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. www.jekeevermortuary.com
