Michael Wayne McDonald

PLANO — Michael Wayne McDonald of  Plano, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011. 

Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.

       Michael was born April 30, 1961, in Arlington. He grew up in Arlington and Ferris. Michael was a certified diesel mechanic for over 28 years. He was very involved in the Native American community for the past 25 years and was devoted to his community. Mike was a hard worker and never met a stranger. He was a loyal husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a very loving man who will be missed greatly. 

       Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles McDonald; grandparents; and father-in-law, Thomas “Dick” Green.

       Survivors: Wife, Tammy Green McDonald; daughters, Traci Evans and husband, Dow; 3 precious grandsons, Tommy, Austin and Jaxon all of Fort Sill, Okla.; Kandace Folsom of Durrant, Okla.; mother, Valda “Jean” McDonald of Red Oak; brothers, Donnie McDonald and wife, Nell of Rice and Ronnie McDonald of Garland.
