Jimmie C. Perdue, 76, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 in Dallas. Born on Jan. 28, 1935 in Madisonville, Texas to Charles Vandable Perdue and Billie Waterson Perdue. 

Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Gloria Dean Perdue. 

He is survived by his sons, Lawrence Perdue and Gary Perdue and his wife Lisa; daughter, Sylvia Smith and husband C.J.; grandchildren, Gary Perdue, Jr., Ryan Smith, Roxanne Perdue, Joshua Newman and wife Alysa, Tiffany Holden, Justin Smith, Patrick Smith, Amanda Perdue and Taylor Le; great grandchildren, Calysta and Anthony Perdue, Chase, Triniti and Gemma Smith, Shyanne, Maci, Tyler and Luke Charles Newman, Skylar Paige and Brooklyn Holden, Paisley Davis and Kendal Smith; sister, Kathryn Perdue Beck.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd. Dallas, TX 75228. Interment followed in the Grove Hill Memorial Park.
