John Willard Belcher

April 9, 1940 – Sept. 22, 2011

DESOTO – Memorial services for John Willard Belcher, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Palmer Assembly of God Church. 

He passed away Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011 in DeSoto. He was a welder by trade and worked at Lane in Arlington.

He is survived by his wife Bessie Belcher; daughters Debra Rhodes and husband Allen, Donna Rhodes and husband Doug, Dianna Green and husband Clifton, Dana Urias, Deborah Rodgers and husband Philip and Delores Maloney; sons John Willard Belcher Jr. and Mathew Adam Ezra Watson Belcher; brothers Jimmy Belcher, Bobby Fox and Danny Crislip; sister Glenda Mae Newton; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
