Funeral services for Richard Alvah Moser, 86, were held at 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Waxahachie Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hemsath officiating.

Born Sept. 11, 1924 in Kingston, Iowa, the son of George and Laura Moser, he passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Ennis Care Center.

Preceded in death by his wife Mabel Moser and son Richard Lynn Moser; he is survived by daughters Gloria Jean Collum of Palmer, Mary Jo More and Husband Gary of Kemp,  daughter-in-law Loretta Moser of Cedar Park; brothers James, Jake and Delbert Moser; sisters Alice Paschal and Georgia Belle Huelett; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Internment following at the Palmer Cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
