Lancaster: City to host ‘Bark in City Park’

LANCASTER - The first annual “Bark in City Park” will be here before you or Fido knows it!

“Bark in City Park” is scheduled for Saturday Aug. 14 from 8 - 11 a.m. at the Lancaster City Park located on 211 West Beltline Road.

The city plans on hosting a morning full of activities including but not limited to: bobbing for tennis balls, super dog contest and a canine good citizens test.

Dallas Dog and Disc Club will perform a 20 minute show and Dallas Agility Working Groups will provide an agility course and demonstrate doggie fitness.

There will also be lost cost vaccinations and grooming available.

Dogs must be on a leash and all owners are responsible for their own pet’s clean-up.
