WHS senior, Victoria Bell, sings National Anthem at Lone Star Park
WAXAHACHIE - Waxah-achie was represented well at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie Sunday, May 23.
Waxahachie High School senior, Victoria Bell, opened the day’s racing events with her rendition of the National Anthem.
This past February, Bell was one of hundreds who tried out for the part. Her talent enabled her to rise to the top and be chosen to sing. "Vicky" as she is lovingly called by family and friends, is no stranger to trying out for talent shows.
She has won multiple contests including the recent "Waxa-hachie’s Got Talent" and the annual WHS Talent Show.
A member of the WHS class of 2010, Bell is a member of the WHS choir, and was the basketball and track manager for three years.
She currently serves as the WHS Indian Maiden Mascot.
Upon graduation, she plans to attend the University of North Texas where she will major in Education Music and Vocal Performance.
Bell is the daughter of Lave-eda Bell and the sister of WHS Alumnus and ten year NFL Veteran, Montae Reagor.
