BARDWELL - Children’s Cancer Fund will host its 22nd Annual Beyond the Rainbow Luncheon and Fashion Show, themed "Bright Stars. Bright Hope." on Friday, April 23, in the Chantilly Ballroom of the Hilton Anatole Hotel to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Honorary Co-Chairs Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach will join corporate sponsors, celebrity escorts (including Daryl and Diane Johnston, Drew Pearson, Janine Turner, etc.) and media to present 43 young cancer patients and numerous pediatric cancer survivors in a special runway show, sponsored by Dillard’s. Event proceeds will go to Children’s Cancer Fund to help advance pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Children’s Medical Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center, benefiting children worldwide.

One of the unique features of the event is the production of the annual Children’s Cancer Fund Calendar.

The 2010 Children’s Cancer Fund Calendar Book will include original artwork by young "calendar artists," inspired by their experiences with cancer. This special calendar will be unveiled at the luncheon and will be available for purchase for $25 a copy through Children’s Cancer Fund at 972-664-1450 or by visiting www.childrenscancerfund.net. Proceeds will go to pediatric cancer research.

In addition to producing artwork for the calendar, these "calendar artists" will participate in the fashion show as first-time models, walking the runway with celebrity escorts and sponsors.

Tickets for the 21st Annual Beyond the Rainbow Luncheon and Fashion Show are $150 per person or $1,250 per table of ten. For reservations and more information, readers can contact Children’s Cancer Fund at 972-664-1450 or visit www.childrenscancerfund.net.
