DALLAS - The Zula B. Wylie Library in Cedar Hill is hosting a book signing for award-winning broadcast journalist Ramona Logan on Monday, March 29 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Logan’s book is titled "The Beauty of Grace: Pearls of Wisdom for Beauty from the Inside Out." The library is located at 225 Cedar Street in Cedar Hill.

The book is designed to help women achieve both inner and outer beauty.

The book is based on one of the workshops Logan presents as part of her image and media strategy consulting firm, Image Advantage.

"The Beauty of Grace" draws from scriptures to explore the elements of true beauty and how to develop the Beauty of Grace from the inside out.

In addition to thought-provoking exercises, the workbook helps women with their outer image by providing clothing design elements to enhance the four different body shapes – hourglass, triangle, inverted triangle and rectangle.

Dr. Thelma Wells, D.D., President of A Woman of God Ministries in Dallas, wrote the foreword for "The Beauty of Grace."

Wells noted, "It’s wonderful to have a practical, user friendly, easy to understand, easy to apply workbook of scripture to remind us of how beautiful we are.

"As you move through this line by line, concept by concept, principle by principle, you will get a greater and more vivid photograph of how absolutely gorgeous is the person in the mirror."

The "Beauty of Grace" actually started as a book project until someone asked Logan if she could do it as a workshop.

Because of enormous positive feedback for her Beauty of Grace workshop, Logan decided to finish the book to make the workshop information more readily available to women everywhere.

Image Advantage assists companies and non-profits in developing, enhancing, positioning, and fine tuning their public relations message to build a positive reputation and image in the marketplace.

She has received more than two dozen awards during her journalism career including the National Headliners Award, the Edward R. Morrow Regional Award and the Barbara Jordan Award.

Before starting her company, Ramona Logan was a reporter at NBC5 in Dallas.
