ENNIS - Libertarians will give Ellis County Republicans their only competition in the fall and the six-candidate slate was finalized Saturday, March 13 in Ennis.
"Ellis County voters deserve a choice this November. The Libertarian Party offers a fiscally conservative socially tolerant platform.
"I would encourage voters to learn more about the Party of Principle at www.lptexas.org." said County Chair Robert Guest.
The six-candidate slate was finalized after votes were cast by Libertarians who did not vote in the March 2 primary.
Third parties choose their candidates at conventions as opposed to the taxpayer-funded primary elections.
