Students selected as Mavs All-Stars

DESOTO - Congratulations to East Middle School sixth-grader Correy Medlock and The Meadows Elementary first-grader Michelle Kalu for being selected as Dallas Mavericks Academic All-Stasr for showing academic excellence! 

They are just two of 30 students selected from more than 400 in the DFW area to receive the award. 

As a Dallas Mavericks Academic All-Stars, they have won:

• A trip to the Dallas World Aquarium with a Dallas Mavericks player on Thursday, March 11 from 3:30-5 p.m.;
• Two tickets to the Dallas Mavericks game on Saturday, March 13 vs. New York at 7:30 p.m. where they’ll be recognized on court at halftime;
• A Dallas Mavericks goody bag!
