McCowan boys basketball finish 2nd in NBA tournament

DESOTO - The McCowan Middle School boys basketball team finished second in the NBA All-Star Jam Session junior high tournament in February.

Competing against a field of 32 Metroplex teams, the players experienced an opportunity of a lifetime as they won four consecutive games to earn their way to the championship game where they fought hard and came up four points short. 

All five games were played in one day due to the snow cancellations the day before!

The players also had a chance to meet many of their professional idols during the event!
