$8,000 spent in special Sunday board meeting

MIDLOTHIAN - School board trustees voted to spend $8,020.50 for a windscreen on the high school baseball field in a special called meeting Sunday, Jan. 11.
Special called meetings are rare, but are used to enact measures and votes that need deadlines, for instance, to obtain grant money or make emergency expenditures.
