Pledge student leads board meeting

DESOTO - On Dec. 14, Julius Jamerson and Taylor Combs, both from The Meadows Elementary, led the Board Meeting with pledges to the US and Texas flags.

Jamerson, a first grader who enjoys basketball, court TV and science class, plans to be in the FBI when he grows up. Julius, the son of Gwen Jamerson, has two sisters Chelsie and Noelle.

Combs, a fifth grader who enjoys math, reading, swimming and sports, is a member of The Meadows Student Council.

The daughter of Tawana and Bernard, Taylor has one sister Miah and three brothers – Roshon, Giavani and Darius.
