Business on the Hill - Networking does Pay Off!

Networking Does Pay Off – The Cedar Hill Chamber of Commerce meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. for its Business on the Hill networking group. Approximately 15 to 25 members meet to exchange cards and referrals.

They also discuss topics of interest to the small business owners. On Dec. 9, Michael Lemmon was the lucky winner of the end-of-year door prize drawing of almost $300 presented by Amanda Skinner, chamber president.

Members who attend contribute $2 each meeting - $1 goes into a drawing that day and $1 goes into the Grand Prize drawing at the last meeting of the year. Michael contributed $100 of his winning to the Cedar Hill Food Pantry. Congratulations to Michael and the Cedar Hill Food Pantry! Networking Does Pay Off and in this case it paid off twice!

The January Business on the Hill meetings are Wednesday, Jan. 13 at the Chamber Office, 300 W. Houston St., Cedar Hill and Wednesday, Jan. 27 at One Resource Credit Union, 755 W. Pleasant Run Rd. in Cedar Hill.
