LANCASTER – Weekend rains resulted in flash flooding into some Lancaster neighborhoods forcing officers to close streets and notify residents about the rising waters.
Residents of Ten Mile Creek are familiar with high waters, but many hope the high waters aren’t a repeat of 2004 when waters once reached the tops of street signs, sweeping away some homes.
According to media reports, rescue teams were called to rescue at least four people who were stuck in the waters.
