DeSoto police identify homicide victims

DESOTO – On Tuesday, Sept. 9, police identified the two men found shot to death in a Toyota sedan about 2:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7 near a DeSoto hiking trail as Cedric Johnson, 40, of Sachse and David Perkins, 36, of Dallas.
The vehicle, which their bodies were found on the 1800 block of Wintergreen Road, was registered to Johnson.
These are the first reported homicides of the year in DeSoto.
