There will be a Mass Care Overview class held on Monday, March 16 at the Midlothian Fire Department located at 100 W. Ave F. from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The purpose of this basic level disaster services training is to provide an overview of the activities performed by the Mass Care group in support of a disaster relief operation.
Disaster Action Team workshop
There will be a Disaster Action Team workshop held on Monday, March 16 at the Midlothian Fire Department located at 100 W. Ave F. from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. This workshop prepares individuals to become part of the Disaster Action Team, which responds to local disasters. Includes information on disaster vehicles, communication equipment and necessary paperwork.

ROHS soccer holds 2nd Annual Charity Game
The ROHS soccer teams will hold their Second Annual Charity Game on Friday, March 13 at the high school. All proceeds from t-shirt sales and raffle will go to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. They will also be hold a canned food drive to benefit a local outreach center. Anyone coming to either the boys or girls games on Friday, March 13 will get in free if they bring 3 canned food items.

Games at Sims Library
For several years, Sims Library has offered chess on Friday afternoons for area youth. They are now adding different games to this fun time at the library. Along with chess and checkers, participants will be able to play Sorry, Uno, Skip-bo and Boggle. If you have a favorite game, bring it along. Ages 10 and under play from 3 to 4 p.m. and ages 11-18 play from 4 to 5 p.m. every Friday afternoon.
