Midlothian - On Oct. 16, the schools of the Midlothian ISD will host a School Walk for Diabetes event to help raise funds to find a cure, provide education and promote prevention.
School Walk for Diabetes is an educational fund-raising program of the American Diabetes Association that teaches students the benefits of making healthy life choices, including getting daily exercise and eating nutritious foods
The walk will take place between 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Midlothian ISD track and field. Participants may attend any time.
Meet the Texas Rangers mascot, Rangers Captain, and win door prizes such as tickets to collegiate sporting events, gas cards, concert tickets and much more.
