Merchants hosting Autumn Days in Ennis Fall Festival Oct. 18
ENNIS – The 7th annual Autumn Days in Ennis Fall Festival will be held Oct. 18 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in downtown Ennis for non-stop fun to celebrate the changing of the season with focus on family entertainment.
This free event will primarily be held on NW Main St., W. Knox Street, and N. Dallas Street in downtown Ennis.
Residents and visitors are invited to come out and enjoy this fun family festival, hosted by the Ennis Historic Downtown Merchants Association. The Ennis Arts Commission will be the sponsor of the music stage, which will include Chad Wester as the Master of Ceremony, and a variety of live entertainment ranging from opry to bluegrass.
Entertainment in order includes the Italy Opry Band, the Little Ennis Czechadees, the Gatlin Family Band, a magic show by David Wonders, and the band, Southern Rains.
The children’s area at this festival offers several other fun activities.
Children’s activities will include various fall themed arts and crafts, the fall photo booth, a free petting zoo a free caricature artist, and more.
Pony rides, tiger slide, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, and other favorites will also be offered.
