The Creative Quilters Guild of Ellis County will be holding their fifth Annual Quilt Show, named "Reaching for the Stars," July 18 and 19 at the Midlothian Conference Center. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regular admission is $5 and for seniors 60 and over, the admission is $4.

Husbands get in free with a paying spouse and children under 12 are free. There will be a "Hubby Haven" room for the men.

The guild will have over a hundred quilts, a judged show, vendors, door prizes, a table runner silent auction each day, and a raffle quilt made by members of the guild. The name of the quilt is "All Paths Lead To You." All five previous winners’ quilts will be displayed at the show. The money earned from the silent auction will benefit Hope Clinic of Ellis County, a non-profit organization who assists people who cannot afford their medical expenses.

The guild raised $1,500 for Hope Clinic
