The Methodist Active Adult Group year of 2007-08 ended on a high note on Wednesday, May 14. The excitement began by meeting together in the waiting room of Ennis Regional Medical Center for a guided tour of the facility and lunch hosted by Dave Anderson, CEO.

In the waiting room, the MAAG were greeted and welcomed by Jane Mize, who led the group on a wonderful and informative tour of the center.

Hospital volunteers took care of the those needing assistance with wheelchairs and any other possible need. The walking tour ended in the board room of the center where Anderson joined the group. He, too, extended a warm welcome to everyone and presented a very educational program and film on the current changes, improvements and future plans for the Ennis Regional Medical Center.

Questions were heard, answers given and everyone was able to express their own thoughts and feelings.

During the tour, Keith Murray, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Ennis, caught up with the group for the rest of the tour.

Members are always excited to have him as part of this group.

Everyone made food selections from the buffet in the hospital cafeteria.

This wonderful lunch was also enjoyed in the board room and was followed by a brief business meeting to close this exciting and fun-filled MAAG year.

The next MAAG year of fun and fellowship will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Mark your calendar for this important day.
