Sunbeam Club shares reunion memories

The Southern Pacific Sunbeam Club met Tuesday, May 6 at the IHop in Ennis. The whistle blew at 11:30 a.m. for another day of food, fun and fellowship.

Excitement was in the air as memories were shared of the "End of the Line Reunion" that had been held on April 25 and 26.

Plans are already being made for this reunion next year.

Reservations have been made at the Baylor Baptist Church for Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25, 2009.

Once again, the Sunbeam Club will have a very active part in this reunion.

During a time of celebration, Eddie Luksa was honored for this May birthday.

Joe Betik was recognized and welcomed as a guest and new member.

Best wishes were extended to all those leaving on the Honor Flight. On Tuesday, June 3 at 11:30 a.m., The Sunbeam Club whistle will blow again at the IHop in Ennis.

All railroaders, both active and retired, their families, friends and all train lovers are welcomed to share in the fun and fellowship with these special friends.
