MIDLOTHIAN - The city of Midlothian has joined with Keep Midlothian Beautiful for a spring citywide cleanup day to be held on Saturday, April 14 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup Day.

The following free services will be provided: Trash disposal - Allied Waste, Electronic Recycling - DFW Re-claimers (Charge for televisions - $1 per inch - exact cash only), Freon reclaiming - Republic Air, Document shredding - Sierra Shred and Tire disposal - Liberty Tire (tires must be clean and off the rims).

Bring your items to the Public Works Service Center at 1050 N. Highway 67 on Saturday, April 14. Signs will be in place to direct the flow of traffic and staff will be on hand to assist with unloading.

The spring cleanup day will replace the fall cleanup day normally held in November.

From this year forward the annual cleanup day will be held on the second Saturday in April.

The city was unable to schedule the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center Crud Cruiser for this event but, they will be in town on Saturday, June 9 to collect hazardous household chemicals. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Works Department at 972-775-1083.
