Hardin-Simmons announces academic honors

ELLIS COUNTY - The following students were named to academic honors lists at Hardin-Simmons University for the fall 2011 semester.

Leta McLarry, of Ferris, was named to the Honor Roll. The Honor Roll is comprised of students carrying 12 or more semester hours who obtain a GPA of 3.6-3.74.

Courtney Mentzel, of Waxahachie, was named to the President’s List. The President’s List is comprised of students carrying 12 or more semester hours who obtain a perfect GPA of 4.0.

Jennifer Carey, of Midlothian, was named to the President’s List. The President’s List is comprised of students carrying 12 or more semester hours who obtain a perfect GPA of 4.0.

Morgan Watts, of Ovilla, was named to the Dean’s List. The Dean’s List is comprised of students carrying 12 or more semester hours who obtain a GPA of 3.75-3.99.
