ExxonMobil awards $4,500 in grants to MISD schools
MIDLOTHIAN - ExxonMobil, in partnership with Victron Energy, Inc., awarded a total of $4,500 in grants to Midlothian Independent School District schools.
Walid Alameddine, Vice President of Victron, worked with Midlothian school officials to secure nine $500 grants to help support and enhance learning opportunities for students in the math and science subject areas. “I’m honored to help out during a time when budgets for our schools do not always provide for some of the most critical needs,” said Alameddine.
ExxonMobil Educational Alliance grants are awarded on a first-come first-served basis.
This year 4,000 grants at $500 each totaling $2 million will be awarded to schools across the country for specific local programs that are in need of being funded.
