Ennis Mayor Russell Thomas proclaimed Thursday, Oct. 20 “GAF Day in Ennis.” This was in recognition of roofing materials GAF donated for city structures over the years. He was accompanied by US Congressman Joe Barton. Their visit also coincided with a safety celebration GAF was doing for their workers. The glass mat factory worked two full years without a recordable accident while the shingle plant worked one year without a recordable accident. They employ a little more than 250 people from Ennis and surrounding areas including Corsicana, Waxahachie, Midlothian, Mansfield, Ovilla and more. GAF has been operating continuously in Ennis since 1979 and have 19 employees with 30 or more years of service.

Congratulations GAF. GAF is a great company that stands behind it's products 100%. The best warranty in the business in our opinion. We are a local company in the area that uses GAF products 95% of the time.
