More than Books...
When the Ferris Public Library moves into our new building we will be asking all patrons to show their library cards before items may be checked out and before computer use.
We have not enforced this practice in the past so during the month of October the library will be offering free replacement cards to our patrons.
To be eligible to receive a free replacement card your account must be clear of all past due fines and no overdue books and/or movies.
After Oct. 31, 2011 replacement cards may be purchased for the usual $3 per card as per library policy.
Story Time is held every Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Students must attend a Registration & Orientation Workshop before enrollment in free GED classes.
The next workshops will be held on Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the Navarro College Waxahachie Campus, Building C, Room 155 and on Saturday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., at their Corsicana Campus location in the Bain Center. For more information about ESL classes, or to request a youth packet, contact the Adult Education Program office at 903-875-7464 or 1-800-NAVARRO ext. 7464.
