Autism Listens In Texas, a non-profit organization, has been formed to offer support for autistic adults and their families in the DFW Metroplex and North Texas region.

The organization is comprised of parents, siblings, friends, educators, students, and caring individuals who want to help autistic adults with their special issues and to offer guidance, information and support avenues to allow them to live more independently.

“There are several organizations and support groups for autistic children, but there is a real need for these same types of supports for autistic adults and that premise was the driving force in forming Autism Listens In Texas,” said Suzanne Renfrow, co-founder of the organization.

Renfrow has 27 years of experience in school counseling and has a 22 year-old autistic daughter.
