WAXAHACHIE - Southwestern Assemblies of God University’s (SAGU) online streaming service, SAGU.tv, will stream the Assemblies of God National Fine Arts (NFA) event in Phoenix, Ariz., Aug. 2-5, from 9:30 a.m – 6:30 p.m.
This is the first time live streaming has occurred during NFA.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to stream NFA this year. It’s such a great event and we are happy to help share it with the nation,” said Del Guynes, SAGU Communication Arts Department Chair.
“We appreciate the cooperation of the AG Media Department as well as the National Youth Department to make this possible.”
SAGU.tv will produce four NFA update program segments each day during the competition.
The update segments will also air on AGTV and will provide highlights and results of the competition.
In addition to the update segments, SAGU.tv will live-stream fine arts competitions and interviews from the NFA and General Council Exhibit Hall.
Results will be streamed as soon as they are released.
A detailed schedule of the programing will be released as the event unfolds.
Viewers can view the stream on their computer or smart phone at SAGU.tv.
The NFA streaming will be produced by SAGU Director of Media Services John Cookman.
“This is a great opportunity for our students to apply their training in a live situation,” stated Cookman.
“All of the camera work, graphics and editing will be done by SAGU Digital Media Arts students.”
