Tarleton State releases Distinguished Students' list

ELLIS COUNTY - Tarleton State University has released the Distinguished Students list for the spring 2011 semester.

Students on the list include freshman and sophomore students who have a minimum 3.25 grade point ratio (GPR) and no grade lower than a ‘C,’ and juniors and seniors who have a minimum 3.5 GPR with no grade lower than a ‘C.’ All must be in good standing with the university. Students making the list include the following:

Mattie Epps of Palmer is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Nursing.

Megan Beidleman of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Kelsey Craig of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Kinesiology.

Megan Cronkright of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Human Sciences.

Susan Hasan of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Nursing.

Lindsay McLin of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Nursing.

Sherraud Roberts of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Finance.

Martha Vila of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in English.

Roxanne Wilson of Red Oak is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Music.

Lauren Raye of Waxahachie is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Wildlife Management.

Audra Williams of Waxahachie is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Nursing.

Kelsey Hutchens of Midlothian is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies.

Clinton Kassen of Midlothian is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Computer Science.

Candra Long of Midlothian is enrolled at Tarleton’s Fort Worth campus and majoring in Histotechnology.

Jessie Norris of Midlothian is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Nursing.

Taylor Rigsby of Midlothian is enrolled at Tarleton’s Stephenville campus and majoring in Horticulture Landscape Mgmt.

Just one hour from Fort Worth, Tarleton serves as the educational and cultural flagship of the Cross Timbers Region. It is located in Stephenville, which is included in Norman Crampton’s “The 100 Best Small Towns in America” published by Prentice Hall.
