Private Applicator training available

There will be a Private Applicator Training on Wednesday, May 4 in the Ellis County Extension Office in the Ellis County Sub Courthouse in Waxahachie. The Private Applicator license allows the license holder to buy and utilize restricted use and state limited use pesticides in their agricultural operations.

Cost of Training Manuals is $50. The schedule for the training includes: 8:15 a.m. Arrive & Register, 8:30 a.m. Begin Training, 12 p.m. Training Complete, 12:30 p.m. Private Applicator Exam administered by the Department of Agriculture Personnel.

Approximately at 3 p.m. all activities should be complete.

The Department of Agriculture requires a picture I.D. from anyone taking the Private Applicator Exam.

Please R.S.V.P. to the Extension office if you plan to attend and you can purchase your training manuals before class.  While it is not necessary, it is encouraged to pick up training manuals before class. Hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m., we close for lunch, and reopen from 1-5 p.m.
