Waxahachie students win big at Ellis County Science Fair

Students from Waxahachie Independent School District recently participated in the Ellis County Science Fair held at Shackelford Elementary on Saturday, March 26. The following students placed in their category: Kindergarten: Jubilea Jones - Marvin Elementary - first place; first grade: Alex Klofas - Felty - first place and Chase Pope - Felty - third place; second grade: Matthew Rankin - Dunaway - second place; third grade: Nadia Sigala - Felty - first place and Rhett Newton - Wedgeworth - third place; fourth grade: Elmi Duale - Wedgeworth - second place; fifth grade: Walker Jarvis - Shackelford - first place; Sixth grade: Delaney Pricer - Clift Middle School - third place; Other Participants: Runee Hossain - Dunaway, Shayna Ratliff - Felty, Jakob Frye - Dunaway, Devin Merrell - Clift and Maccoy Merrell - Clift.
