Ellis County 4-H student receives reserve Red Angus honors

San Antonio – The Junior Market Steers Show was held on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Amy L. Carrington of Ellis County 4-H received reserve Red Angus honors.
Grand Champion Angus honors were received by Kisean Oneal Callis of Fort Bend, Texas. Callis is currently a member of the Fort Bend co. 4-H.

To date, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo educational commitment exceeds $105 million with a record $8.5million committed in 2010 in the form of scholarships, grants, endowments, auction, calf scramble program and show premiums paid to youth.
