Serving Country: Thomas G. Bittick
WAXAHACHIE - Air National Guard Capt. Thomas G. Bittick has been decorated with the Air Force Commendation Medal.
The medal is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate outstanding achievement or meritorious service in the performance of their duties on behalf of the Air Force.
Bittick, an executive officer with 20 years of military service, is regularly assigned to the 186th Air Refueling Wing at Key Field, Meridian Regional Airport, Miss. He is a resident of Meridian. When not on active duty, Bittick is a lawyer and owner of the Bittick Law Firm.
He is the son of Clint Bittick of Waxahachie and Carol Austin of Flagstaff, Ariz.
His wife, Pam, is the daughter of Michael and Faye Crabtree of Stonewall, Miss.
The captain received a bachelor’s degree in 2001 from Mississippi State University in Meridian, and earned a law degree in 2006 from the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford.
