Waxahachie High School to host Second Annual Veterans Day celebration

WAXAHACHIE - Waxahachie High School will host the second annual "Stars and Stripes Veterans Day Celebration" on Thursday, Nov. 11 to honor those heroes who have served our country. 

The festivities will take place at the WHS Fine Arts Center and will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will last approximately 45 minutes. 

The program will include guest speakers and moving musical performances by both the WHS band and choir. 

A very special feature of the celebration includes Waxahachie High School students personally recognizing and honoring individual veterans during the ceremony. 

At the conclusion of the program, there will be a small reception for the veterans in the foyer of the Fine Arts Center. 

WHS would like to extend an invitation for this wonderful event to the Waxahachie community.
