Company with false claims

OAK LEAF – There has been an asphalt company soliciting the neighborhood stating they do work for the city and can offer a discount since they are in the area.

According to the city, "this is not true."

Anyone going door-to-door will have a card from city hall with an official city stamp on the back of the card.

"Having permission from the city to solicit no way implies that the city is recommending their product," stated the city wide release to citizens.

The card from the city only means the city has investigated their business and has their information on file in case of any problems.
