On Sept. 11, 2010 a 9-11 Tribute by 10 Best Southwest Cities’ Fire and Police Departments will take place on Lancaster’s Historic Town Square from 10 a.m. to noon.

Lancaster Fire Chief Dick Knopf and Lancaster Police Chief Keith Humphrey are inviting all current and retired first responders, their families and friends, as well as the general public to participate in this 9-11 Tribute.

As this is a 2nd Saturday of the month, the normal “2nd Saturday on the Square” activities will take place before and after the 9-11 Tribute ceremonies.  These include a Best Southwest Idol competition, craft vendors, food and beverage service at three restaurants on Town Square, and a special appearance of the BratMobile.

Or  call Randy Rostad at 972-977-8379, Felix Isaac at 214-912-6573, or the Lancaster Chamber and Visitors Center at 972-227-2579.
