Conservatives ready to unite

ELLIS COUNTY - Hundreds of conservatives are planning on heading to the Waco Convention Center this weekend to unite with other like minded individuals with strong constitution based values.
The Ellis County Republican Party, headed by County Chairman Dan Davis, are sponsoring "The Heart of Texas Conservative Coalition" as they hold their first event Friday, July 23.
The unity rally is being held to promote conservative activism and involvement while working together as a community.
Tea Party, 9/12, conservative, Republican and Libertarian organizations are participating from all over the Central Texas region.
Emceed by Michael Quinn Sullivan from Empower Texans and Radio Host Jason Moore, the confirmed "Unity Rally" speakers include: Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott ,Texas Railroad Commissioner Elizabeth Ames Jones, Texas Senator Brian Birdwell ,Texas State Representative Charles "Doc" Anderson ,Texas State Representative Rob Orr, Candidate for Texas State Representative Marva Beck ,U.S. Congressional Candidate for (R) TX17 Bill Flores, and possibly Congressman Louie Gohmert (R) TX-01 if he makes his flight after a House vote.
Groups and organizations will have tables in the exhibit area of Chisholm Hall for all attendees providing information about volunteering, activism, education and voter registration.
