Ex-police chief demands a recount

WILMER - An open records request to the city secretary this afternoon, Thursday, May 13, confirmed rumors of a recount for Saturday, May 8 city council election.

Robert Wells, ex-police chief running for council and Hector Pena running for mayor, have each requested a recount in their respected races.

Recount will take place in Dallas at the Dallas County Elections Department at 9 a.m. for Mayor and 11 a.m. for council.

Saturday, May 8 election results are as follows:
