Ennis honoring heroes May 6

Ennis – This Thursday, May 6 until Sunday, May 9 Ennis will welcome the American Veterans Traveling Tribute.
This mobile group of memorials and exhibits includes all the names of the men and women who have given their life to protect our freedom, as well as every soldier who served his or her country from World War II up until the Iraqi conflict.
A special 9/11 memorial has also been added for speculation.
Local bands and singers will be performing throughout the 4 day event.
At 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5 the Rally Ride is set to escort The Wall into town.
At 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 the exhibit will be ready for visitors and opening ceremony "Laying of Wreaths".
At 2 p.m. on Friday, May 7 will be the ceremony honoring police, fire and emergency responders.
Saturday, May 8 beginning at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. a special downtown parade will take place followed by a welcome home ceremony honoring all veterans, then closed with prayer.
Sunday, May 9, on it’s last day in town, an all denominational worship service will begin at 1 p.m.
The closing ceremony and ride of honor will proceed at 7 p.m. and mark the closing of this free educational and inspirational traveling tribute.
