GARRETT – Debra Ruth Henderson contacted the Ellis County Sherriff’s Office last Thursday, March 18 around 11 a.m as a victim of aggravated robbery.

Upon arrival to the 4600 block of FM 879, Henderson advised deputies she had returned home a little after 9 a.m. and was confronted inside of her residence by two Hispanic men.

The suspects obtained several firearms from Henderson’s home and forced her to open a safe inside a closet where they were able to grab $4,000 in one hundred dollar bills.

The suspects, each wearing blue jeans and dark colored hooded jackets, also stole two jewelry items.

A men’s watch with a leather band and a men’s white gold ring with a ruby in the middle surrounded by diamonds.

One of the Hispanic males was described as having a thin build with facial hair and the other described as having an average build.

Henderson was treated by Emergency Medical Services at the scene for a minor injury to her hand.

The victims are currently at large.

Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the Criminal Investigations department of the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office at 972-825-4913, or the Sheriff’s Office at 972-937-6060.
