NBCs “The Biggest Loser†Auditions at Methodist Dallas Medical Center
Also Feature Free Health Fair for Contestants
NBC’s popular reality series “The Biggest Loser” is launching a 15-city cross-country search to find new contestants for the next edition of the hit show. Individuals and teams of two who have at least 100 pounds to lose are encouraged to apply for the new season.
Auditions in Dallas will take place Saturday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, 1441 N. Beckley Ave. in the Hitt Auditorium. The auditorium is located in the Service Building near the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Bishop Avenue.
In addition to the opportunity to be cast for the show, each contestant for NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” at Methodist Dallas Medical Center will be a winner with a head start to good health. Methodist Dallas will offer a free health fair for contestants featuring motivating speakers with valuable tips on different aspects of good health, healthy cooking tips, simple fitness and motion exercises, and an opportunity to interact with professionals and organizations that will share ways to lead a healthier lifestyle. Come meet Season 6 Biggest Loser Michelle Aguliar and Season 8 Contestant Tracy Yukich, who will also be present at the event.
The new “The Biggest Loser” season begins in the fall of 2010. Casting producers are looking for outgoing and charismatic individuals and teams of two who have the personality, desire and competitive edge to vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lose weight, change their lives forever, and compete for a grand prize of $250,000. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States. While they will try to see everyone, “The Biggest Loser” casting teams will do their best to see the first 500 people in line. Potential contestants will not be allowed to line up prior to three hours before the start of the open call. Candidates should bring a non-returnable photo of themselves (and their partners, if applying as a team).
