Cop writes 511 traffic tickets in a month

PALMER – In December, Palmer Police Department Officer Robert Burross wrote a whopping 511 traffic tickets, or 33.95 percent of the total tickets for that month.

So far this month, he’s written 153 tickets, or 34.69 percent of PPD’s total.

The record, as well as listings of other officers and their reports, was released by the city of Palmer from an open records request.
