CEDAR HILL – Public hearings on the Loop 9 toll road that is planned for the areas in Southern Dallas County and Northern Ellis County will take place in the spring after state and local officials get the go-ahead for the federal governments environmental
At a Loop 9 Coalition Task Force meeting Thursday, Nov. 19, local elected officials heard from Texas Department of Transportation on proposed routes for the six-lane toll road and the need for public hearings.
The toll road has spurred pockets of oppositions in Midlothian, Glenn Heights, Cedar Hill and Lancaster.
State officials on hand at last week’s meeting said the anticipated hearings on the toll road for public input would occur after the March 2 Republican and Democratic primaries.
