CEDAR HILL - Oliva Wilborn, 28, is suing her former friend and lover, Tirick Foard, 35, for $1,000 and both appeared on the Judge Joe Brown television show last week in Los Angeles.

Wilborn said the defendant asked her to secure a location for an event he was planning and he promised to pay her back but has not.

Foard says the plaintiff voluntarily paid for the location because her sister was a part of the event and she wanted to help out.

Judge Joe Brown, a reality courtroom series, airs in syndication locally on KDFW FOX 4 at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
