1st Annual Wheels Auto & Motorcycle Show, Oct 3.

DeSoto – Custom and classic cars from across the D/FW Metroplex will roll into DeSoto, Texas on Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 1st Annual Wheels Auto & Motorcycle Show. The event will be held in the parking lot at the corner of Polk and Pleasant Run Roads.


The car nd motorcycle show, sponsored by Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet,  is hosted by the DeSoto Chamber of Commerce. Visitors can view the cars from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.

“The Wheels Committee has done a tremendous job pulling in different types of vehicles for this first time event”, stated Alan Jackson, Chair of Wheels and owner of Handy Jack Services. “We’re very excited to bring this new event to the city and to the area”.


In addition to the display area, there will be a “Swap Meet” area where booth spaces will be available for vendors selling auto-related parts and accessories. There will also be an entertainment area, sponsored by Doug Stanley Ford,  located in close proximity to the display area. 


The pre-registration fee to enter a vehicle in the show is $25 until Sept. 30.

After that, the fee is $35 per car. Vehicle owners can purchase a double space for $40. Vendor booths must be reserved prior to the show. Vehicles can be registered the day before the show until 5 p.m.

DeSoto is located just 15 miles south of downtown Dallas on I-35E. Take the Pleasant Run exit west for 1 mile to Polk Street.
