2 found slain in DeSoto

DESOTO – Police are sear-ching for a lead in the shooting deaths of two homicide victims.
About 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, a passer-by reported suspicious activity in the 1800 block of Wintergreen Road. Upon their arrival to the Windmill Hill Preserve trail area, officers discovered a vehicle and inside were the bodies of two men.
According to media reports, one of the victims had ID, matching him to the vehicle registration.
The other man wore no identification.
As of press time neither of the men had yet to be identified.
As of Monday, police have not released either of the victims names.
These are the first reported homicides of the year in DeSoto.
