DALLAS – The Texas Department of Transportation is allowing the ramp from I-20 eastbound to I-35E northbound to be closed from 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13 through 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14 for full-depth pavement repair.

A message board has been in place at the location to advertise the closure to motorists. Eastbound traffic will travel through the area and be able to exit I-20 at Houston School Road, then U-turn back west where it can enter northbound I-35E from that direction.

All lane closures are weather permitting.

This work is part of an $18 million “bundle bid contract” for routine maintenance in Dallas County over the next two years.

TxDOT is striving to minimize disruptions for central Dallas citizens while also working to improve safety, reduce congestion and improve air quality.  For more lane closure information:  http://www.dot.state.tx.us/travel/road_conditions.htm
