Labor Day Holiday delays trash disposal

DeSoto – Due to the Labor Day holiday, DeSoto’s solid waste contactor, Duncan Disposal, will be delayed in observance with the holiday on Sept. 7.

Beginning Sept. 7 -12, normal pick-up will be shifted by one day. Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, normal Tuesday trash collection will move to Wednesday. All recycling will be collected on Thursday, regular trash collection will move to Friday and Friday collection will take place on Saturday.

Regular schedule will resume on Monday, Sept. 14.
